A big hello from The Robe Story, where dreams are woven into reality! We stand before you, Pooja and Tharika, the dynamic duo behind this venture. Bound by friendship and a shared passion, we embarked on a journey into the clothing industry in 2021, and within a mere three months of research and brainstorming, The Robe Story came into existence.

We are Pooja, the nurturing mom with a B.Tech in Fashion technology, and Tharika, with a Masters in Business Management, on the brink of motherhood.  Though we live in two different towns, we still make it work by taking up roles that each of us specializes in and streamline it to bring the brand to life.
From a team of two people in the first year to a team of eight, The Robe Story is a testament to women empowerment. Our diverse team, predominantly comprising of dedicated women tailor who work from their home, forms the backbone of our success. Together, we've stitched not just garments, but also opportunities for personal and professional growth.

 

Customization Redefined

The Robe Story isn't just about clothing; it's about storytelling through fabrics. Our inception was driven by the desire to offer customers the freedom to create and the heart to embrace sustainability. Each garment is a canvas, personalized with care, and woven from meticulously sourced hand block cotton fabrics, as a support to local artisans. Fashion knows no boundaries, and neither do we. We have mindfully taken into account a number of setbacks that we usually come across while we shop for a dress. The Robe Story prides itself on being a size inclusive brand, offering sizes that embrace all body types. Through our "Made to Order" approach, customers craft their narratives, choosing patterns, sleeves, necklines, and sizes that resonate with their individuality.
